Fish Surprise

Ingredients
  Bay leaf 1
  Whole cloves 6
  Lemon slice 1
  Onion slice 1
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Red pepper 1⁄2 Inch
  Halibut 1 Pound, cut in serving pieces (Fresh Or Frozen And Defrosted)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Medium white sauce 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Blanched almonds/Salted cashews 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), finely chopped
  Toasted bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Place bay leaf, cloves, lemon, onion, salt, vinegar, red pepper and fish in 2-quart casserole.
Pour in water.
Cover.
MICROWAVE 3 to 5 MINUTES on HIGH, or until fish flakes easily.
Let stand, covered, while preparing white sauce.
Remove fish, drain broth and discard.
Break fish into 1-inch pieces.
Return to casserole.
Stir nuts into white sauce.
Pour over fish.
Top with bread crumbs.
MICRO WAVE 3 to 4 MINUTES on '6', or until sauce bubbles.
