Fried Fish Toys

Ingredients
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chinese fish paste 1 Pound
  Peanut oil 1
Directions

Add the cornstarch to a small amount of the fish paste until you get something that can be handled easily.
The amount of corn starch you may have to use depends on how moist the fish is.
In any case, you want to prepare something that can be cut like cookie dough.
Place the dough on a sheet of wax paper, and place another sheet on top.
Roll the dough carefully into normal cookie dough thickness, and cut with your children's favorite cookie cutters.
Fry these little creatures very slowly and very carefully in a bit of oil, and serve them with a flair.
They make a delightful plate for children, and adults will get a kick out of them as well.
