This prune filling recipe is a juicy and creamy dessert filling recipe. Prepared with a little gelatin, the prune filling is perfect for fruitcakes and is lightly cooked to prepare. Made with rhubarb or pineapple juice the prune filling is fruity and delicious
Ingredients
  Prunes 1⁄4 Pound
  Gelatin 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Cold water 4 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Rhubarb juice/Pineapple juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Whipped cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by washing the prunes, soak overnight in water to cover
2.Remove pits and rub pulp through a coarse sieve.
MAKING
3.In a pot, cook the prunes slowly
4.Soak the gelatin in cold water.
5.When soft, add it to the hot prune pulp and stir until the gelatin dissolves.
6.Add sugar and fruit juice.
7.When the filling has cooled, fold in the whipped cream.
SERVING
8.Use filling in cakes
