Easy Butterscotch Filling
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), firmly packed|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Cold water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a 2 cup glass measuring cup.
Gradually stir in water until cornstarch dissolves.
Microwave 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened.
Stir every 30 seconds during cooking.
Blend in butter.
Spread between layers of cake
