Essential Cream Filling

This cream filling can be used for cakes or pies. Made with vaniila pudding and pie filling and heavy cream with milk, the cream filling is cooked and boiled. Combined with whipping cream and vanilla for flavor, its best used after cooling a little.
Ingredients
  Vanilla pudding and pie filling 3 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package)
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped
  Vanilla 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Combine pudding and milk in a medium-size saucepan.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until it comes to a full rolling boil.
Remove from heat.
Cover surface of pudding with waxed paper.
Cool.
Fold in whipped cream and vanilla.
