Cooked Filling

This Cooked Filling tastes yummy ! Use this Cooked Filling for a variety of pastry and pie dishes. Try this out and tell e if you liked it !
  Ground beef 1⁄2 Pound
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Cracked grain 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Carrot 1 Small
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Lightly brown the ground beef in a large skillet.
Drain off excess liquid.
Add the onion and garlic, and saute.
Add grain, and cook until lightly brown.
Add 2 cups of the water, cover skillet, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Check moisture content, adding remaining 1 cup water if necessary.
Ten minutes before grain is tender, add carrot.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mixture should be thick.
Baking: Bake in a 425°F.
Oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
