|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Scalded milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Mix together dry ingredients and add to milk, stirring constantly and cook in top of double boiler until smooth and thick.
Cook for 10 min. longer, stirring occasionally.
Pour gradually over slightly beaten eggs.
Return to double boiler and cook for 3 min.
Cool before spreading between layers of cake.
Makes enough for 2 layers of filling.
