|Cake flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Fresh orange juice||2 1⁄4 Cup (36 tbs)|
|Fresh lemon juice||6 Tablespoon|
|Grated orange rind||3 Tablespoon|
|Lemons||1 1⁄2 , rinds grated|
|Egg yolks||4 , beaten|
In heavy saucepan mix first four ingredients and blend until smooth.
Add juices and rinds.
Cook, stirring, until mixture thickens and becomes almost translucent.
Stir a small amount of hot mixture into slightly beaten egg yolks.
Stir into mixture in saucepan and cook, stirring, for a few minutes longer.
