Country Cream Filling
|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Corn starch||2 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
1) In a saucepan, pour milk to scald.
2) In a small bowl, combine corn starch, salt and sugar with a little cold milk.
3) In another bowl, beat egg and pour in the corn starch mixture.
4) Add this mixture to the hot milk.
5) Cook for another 3 minutes or until the milk turns thick and smooth.
6) Add flavoring.
7) Spread the filling inside the cake layers.
