Creamy Mushroom Filling
|Fresh mushrooms||1⁄2 Pound|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Curry powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Salt and pepper||1|
(Use stems in sauce or soup at another time.) Chop mushrooms fine.
Saute mushrooms in butter for about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle flour evenly over the mushrooms and stir until smooth.
Gradually stir in heavy cream.
Stir over low heat until thickened.
Add curry powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
