Cheese Filled Pears

Ingredients
  Pears 3 , peeled, halved, and cored
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Brandy 2 Tablespoon
  Grated lemon peel 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Cream cheese 3 Ounce, softened (1 package)
  Blue cheese 1 Ounce, crumbled
  Finely chopped pecans 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Brandy 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In saucepan cook pears, covered, with 1 cup water and sugar till tender, about 10 minutes.
Transfer pears, cavity side up, and liquid to blazer pan of chafing dish.
Add the 2 tablespoons brandy, lemon peel, and juice.
In small bowl blend together cheeses.
Shape into 6 balls; roll in nuts.
Place one ball in cavity of each pear.
Heat through over direct heat.
In small saucepan heat the 1/4 cup brandy.
Ignite and spoon over pears.
