|Sugar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Grated lemon rind||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together.
Blend in the water and cook and stir until thick and clear.
Stir a little of the hot mixture into the egg and return to the cooked mixture.
Cook and stir 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.
Cool before spreading.
