Lane Cake Filling

Ingredients
  Egg yolks 8 , beaten
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Seeded raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
  Brandy 75 Milliliter (1 wine glass, good quality)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Pour eggs, butter, and sugar into top of double boiler,,stir constantly until thick.
Add remaining ingredients and remove at once from fire.
Cool and fill cake.
Ice with any boiled icing.
