Pork Filling For Potlickers

  Soy sauce 2 Teaspoon
  Honey 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic powder 1 Teaspoon
  Minced green onions 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Lean pork 1 1⁄4 Pound, cut into 1/3-inch cubes
  Safflower oil/Sesame oil 1 Teaspoon
  Brown rice flour 4 Teaspoon
  Sherry 2 Teaspoon
  Regular-strength beef broth 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt To Taste

Stir together soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, and onion.
Brown meat in oil over high heat.
Stir together flour and sherry.
Combine soy mixture and sherry mixture and stir into pork mixture.
Cook until mixture boils and thickens.
Taste for seasoning.
Add salt to taste.
Variations: If you can use corn, you can substitute 2 tsp cornstarch for the brown rice flour.
If you can use wheat and gluten, you can substitute wheat flour for the brown rice flour.
If you can use gluten but not wheat, you can substitute barley or oat flour for the brown rice flour.
