Lemon Filling

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Egg yolk 1
  Grated lemon peel/3/4 teaspoon dried lemon peel 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Water 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Yellow coloring 1 Drop
Directions

Combine all ingredients in 4-cup measure.
Cook, uncovered, 2 minutes, 30 seconds or until mixture boils and thickens, stirring twice during last half of Cooking time.
Cool.
Spread on cake
