Butterscotch Filling

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), packed
  Flour 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg yolks 2 , lightly beaten
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Combine sugar, flour and salt in saucepan, stirring to blend well.
Add milk gradually, stirring until smooth.
Set over moderate heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil 1 minute.
Stir at least half of the hot mixture gradually into egg yolks.
Pour back into pan and return to heat.
Bring back to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter, vanilla and nuts and cool.
