Prune Filling

Ingredients
  Prunes 14 Ounce (pitted)
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Lemon peel 1 Teaspoon, grated
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground
Directions

Simmer prunes in just enough water to cover until tender, about 30 minutes; drain.
Finely chop prunes or puree in blender or press through food mill.
Stir in remaining ingredients; cool.
