Custard Filling

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Egg yolk 1
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients.
Gradually add milk; mix well.
Cook and stir till thick and bubbly; cook 2 to 3 minutes more.
Beat together egg and egg yolk.
Stir a little of the hot mixture into egg; return to hot mixture.
Cook and stir till bubbly.
Stir in vanilla.
Cover with waxed paper; cool.
