Fillet Steak With Brandy And Marsala (Filetto Casanova)

|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Liver pate||2 Pound (125 Grams)|
|Marsala||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Brandy||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
Rub the steaks with salt and pepper and then with a little olive oil.
Allow to stand for about an hour.
Brown the steaks either in a frypan or under a broiler for about one minute on each side.
Melt the butter in a large frypan and mix in the liver pate.
Add Marsala and blend thoroughly.
Cook for one minute.
Add the steaks and cook for a couple of minutes.
Warm the brandy and pour over the steaks.
Light the brandy and continue to cook the steaks until the flames go out.
