Marinated Kipper Fillets with Onion
|Kipper fillets||8 , boned (1 Packet)|
|Onion||1 Small, sliced into rings|
|For the marinade|
|Sugar||1 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
|Pepper||To Taste (Freshly Milled)|
|Wine vinegar||3 Tablespoon|
|Olive oil||4 Tablespoon|
1. Skin fillets.
2. In a shallow serving plate, arrange the kipper fillets along with the onion rings and bay leaf.
3. In another bowl, mix the marinade ingredients and taste; adjust flavor to taste.
4. Pour the marinade over the kippers and let it marinate for several hours.
5. Serve with slices of buttered brown bread.
