Crispy Fish Fillets
|White fish fillets||8|
|Ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Golden breadcrumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Packaged, Breading Mix)|
|Oil||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Butter||1 Ounce (2 Tablespoon, 25 Gram)|
Sprinkle the fish with salt and pepper. Dip in beaten egg and then in golden (packaged) breadcrumbs (breading mix), pressing them on well to cover the fish.
Heat a browning dish to maximum, according to the manufacturer's instructions. Add the oil and butter. Cook for 30 seconds. Protecting your hands with oven gloves, tilt the dish so that it is well oiled.
Lay the fish fillets in the dish (cook them in 2 batches if necessary) and cook for 4 minutes, turning once.
Serve with lemon slices and wholemeal (whole-wheat) bread and butter and a salad if liked.
