Easy Garlic Baked Fillets
|Vegetable oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Skinless sablefish/Croaker flounder / turbot fillets||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Black pepper salt||To Taste|
|Red cayenne pepper||To Taste|
|Lemon wedges/Lime wedges||4|
Preheat oven to 450F (230C).
Lightly oil a baking sheet large enough to hold fish in a single layer; set aside.
Heat oil in a small saucepan.
Add garlic; saute about 5 minutes.
Do not let garlic brown; discard sauteed garlic.
Cut fish fillets into 4 equal servings.
Generously brush both sides of fillets with garlic-seasoned oil.
Season with salt and black pepper.
Arrange seasoned fillets in a single layer on oiled baking sheet.
Dust tops with paprika and red pepper.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes or until fish tests done.
