Veal Pot Roast Filipino
|Veal breast||2 Pound|
|Soy sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Boiling water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned white onions||8 Ounce, drained (About 1 Cup)|
Put veal in deep bowl.
Mix soy sauce, vinegar, and seasonings.
Pour over veal and let stand for at least 30 minutes, turning meat several times.
Lift meat from marinade; roll in flour and brown in hot shortening.
Put a small rack under meat in kettle.
Add marinade and boiling water.
Simmer, covered, for 2 hours, or until veal is tender.
Add onions and heat.
