Fig Bars

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Fig filling 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Powdered sugar To Taste (As Required)
Directions

Grease and lightly flour a 9x9x2 inch baking pan.
In a bowl stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
In a mixer bowl beat butter or margarine with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
Add brown sugar and beat till fluffy.
Add egg and Fig Filling and beat well.
Add flour mixture and beat till well mixed.
Spread batter in the prepared pan.
Bake in a 350° oven about 20 minutes or till done.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Sift powdered sugar atop.
Cut into bars.
