Spiced Figs

Ingredients
  Figs 1 Can (10 oz)
  Cinnamon stick 1
  Brown sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Sour cream   (to serve)
Directions

Method Pour figs and fig syrup into a large skillet.
Add cinnamon stick, broken in half, brown sugar and ginger.
Cook, uncovered, over a very low heat for 10-15 minutes, or until syrup thickens slightly.
Spoon syrup over figs during cooking.
Remove cinnamon stick.
Serve at room temperature or chill and spoon a little sour cream on top, if you like.
