Chop the figs and dates and puree in a blender and transfer into a mixing bowl.
Shape this mixture into 25 small balls with your hands and push a whole almond into the centre of each ball.
The almond should be completely covered with the fruit.
Spread out the chopped hazel nuts, almonds and pistachio nuts on a sheet of waxed paper.
Roll each ball into the nuts and cover again completely.
