Figs Poached In Marsala
|Dried figs||14 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Marsala wine||1 Cup (16 tbs) (White Grape Juice May Be Substituted)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Lemon||1 , sliced, seeds removed|
Combine the figs, the Marsala or grape juice, water, and lemon in a saucepan.
Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
Let the figs cool in the liquid.
