Pickled Black Figs

Ingredients
  Whole cloves 2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon stick 2 , broken
  Vinegar/Sauterne 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Black figs 12 Ounce (1 Package, Or 1 Pound, Fancy Figs)
Directions

Tie spices in a bag and drop into a saucepan with the vinegar and sugar plus 1/2 cup water.
Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.
Remove spice bag.
Add figs and cook slowly for 20 minutes.
Cool and pour into a sealer or screw-top jar.
