Figs Romanoff

Ingredients
  Fresh figs 2 Pound
  Curacao juice/Orange juice 2 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Pint
  Whipping cream 1⁄2 Pint
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Grated sweet chocolate 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Peel figs, if desired, and cut in halves; arrange in a shallow bowl and sprinkle with curacao.
Cover and chill.
About 10 minutes before serving, remove ice cream from freezer to soften.
Whip cream until thick and sweeten with sugar.
Fold ice cream into whipped cream.
Fold in figs.
Spoon into small dessert bowls or goblets.
Sprinkle chocolate over each serving.
