Grape Butter is a well loved fruit spread in my family. I often chose to take them out on weekend morns so that everyone can enjoy this yummy Grape Butter! Try it!
4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs)
Rinse the grapes; discard stems and blemished grapes.
Drain and put into a large heavy saucepot.Add sugar and mix thoroughly.
Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
Increase heat and cook rapidly 20 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
Remove the grape mixture from heat and force through a coarse sieve or food mill.
Return the pulp to saucepot and bring to boiling over high heat, stirring constantly.
Boil rapidly 1 minute.
Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
Ladle into hot sterilized jars and seal
