Whole Wheat And Peanut Butter Cookies
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Peanut butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
|Whole wheat flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking soda||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Wheat germ||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), toasted|
Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter,sugar, egg and vanilla.
Mix together the dry ingredients, except wheat germ.
Blend into creamed mixture.
Shape into 1 balls; roll in wheat germ.
Place 2 apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork tines.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove from pan.
