Rum Butter

Ingredients
  Unsalted butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Soft light brown sugar 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Light rum 6 Tablespoon
Directions

Cut the butter into small pieces and process until soft .
Add half the sugar and process until light and fluffy.
With the machine running, add the remaining sugar and the rum in small amounts through the feeder tube until well-mixed.
This must be done slowly or the mixture may curdle.
Put into a serving dish and chill.
Serve with puddings or mince pies.
