A perfect biscuit should be golden brown and crusty and when you split it in half it should be soft, flaky and moist enough to absorb a pat of butter, which is absolutely necessary. This biscuit recipe is so easy and absolutely delicious, just like the packaged ones but obviously much cheaper. Use them to top chicken pot pie or to make short cakes, either way they just melt in your mouth.
