|Soft butter||3 Tablespoon|
|Cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Peppermint flavoring||2 Teaspoon|
|Powdered sugar||1 Pound|
|Food coloring||1 Teaspoon|
Combine butter and cream; stir in salt, vanilla and flavoring.
Knead in sugar until mixture is smooth.
Tint with food coloring as desired.
Shape into small balls; place on cookie sheets.
Press mints to flatten.
Let stand for 24 hours to dry; store in airtight container.
