Peanut Butter Broil
|Pork and beans||1 Cup (16 tbs), drained and mashed|
|Rhubarb sauce||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), drained (Unsweetened)|
|Chopped green onions with tops||3 Tablespoon|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Whole wheat bread slices||6|
|Peanut butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), shredded|
|Bacon slices||4 , fried crisp and crumbled|
Mix together beans, rhubarb, onions, and mayonnaise.
Toast bread lightly; spread with butter and peanut butter.
Layer on bean mixture.
Sprinkle cheese over each sandwich and top with bacon.
Broil for a few minutes until piping hot and cheese is melted.
