Boiled Lobster with Drawn Butter and Lemon
|Boiling water||2 Cup (32 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Live lobsters||9 Pound (six whole, 1 1/2 pound each)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Pound, melted|
|Lemons||3 , cut into wedges|
Bring to the boil two 8- or 10-quart pots of water large enough to cover the lobster.
Add the bay leaves, salt, and peppercorns.
Boil 5 minutes.
Plunge the lobsters headfirst into the boiling water.
Boil 15-20 minutes.
Serve with individual pots of melted butter, lots of lemon wedges, and thick slices of hot, white bread.
