Rhonda's Apple Butter
|Cloves||1⁄2 Teaspoon, ground|
1. Place peeled, cored and sliced apples in slow cooker.
2. With cover cook on High for 2-3 hours and reduce to Low for 8 hours such that the apples are rich brown and cooked down by half.
3. Stir in spices and with lid off cook on High for 2-3 hours.
4. Stir until smooth, pour into freezer containers and freeze.
5. Alternately preserve by placing in sterilized jars and seal.
6. Serve as desired.
