Grilled Cheese Peanut Butter Sandwich
|Enriched bread slices||16|
|Soft butter/Margarine||4 Tablespoon|
|Peanut butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pimiento cream cheese||4 Ounce (1/2 Cup)|
|American cheese slice||4|
1. Preheat a broiler.
2. Apply margarine or butter to all the bread slices. Spread 2 tbsp pimiento cream cheese on 4 of the bread slices and top with another slice of bread. Spread 2 tbsp peanut butter on the second bread slice, cover with a third slice and top the 3rd one with 1 slice American cheese. Place a fourth slice on the top.
3. Cut the sandwiches into three equal portions, pierce in a toothpick and arrange the sandwich on a cookie sheet with cut side facing downwards.
4. Toast under the broiler for 10 minutes, turning to the other side after 5 minutes.
5. Serve immediately with fruit salad.
