Asparagus In Lemon Butter
|Young asparagus||1 Pound|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
1.Preheat the oven at 350 degrees.
2.Take a square shaped 8 inch baking pan and arrange benne seeds in it and bake for 10- 15 minutes till seeds are golden.
3.In a bowl, mix cheese and butter and put baked benne seeds in it and stir.
4.Mix flour, salt and cayenne pepper and stir them all together in cream mixture.
5.Once the dough is ready, divide it in two parts and make a roll measuring 8 x 11/2 inch from each.
6.Take the waxed papaer and cover the rolls with it and refrigerate for 2 hours.
7.Once done, make 1/4 inch slices of the rolls and bake them for 15- 17 minutes.
8.Serve hot with dips.
