Green Veggie Bake
|Chopped onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sour cream||4 Ounce|
|Ritz crackers||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Salad)|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Broccoli||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green beans||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|American cheese/Cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Butter/Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
Cook onion in 2 tablespoons butter until tender.
Add cornstarch, salt, pepper, and sourcream; mix well.
Stir in green vegetables.
Put in casserole dish, top with grated cheese.
Combine remaining 2 tablespoons butter and cracker crumbs; place on top of cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
This recipe was created for those "timid" green-vegetable eaters.
Also great for leftovers.
