Basic Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Powdered sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (1 1/2 Sticks At Room Temperature)
  Coarsely chopped walnuts/Sliced walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Preheat oven to 300°F .
Sift first 3 ingredients into large bowl.
Add butter and mix well.
Stir in walnuts.
Drop by teaspoons onto baking sheet.
Bake until cookies are lightly golden, about 20 to 25 minutes.
