Chunky Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
  Unsalted butter 4 Ounce, softened (125 Gram)
  Soft brown sugar 5 Ounce (150 Gram)
  Chunky peanut butter 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
  Egg 1 , lightly beaten
  Plain white flour 5 Ounce (150 Gram)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Unsalted peanuts 4 Ounce (125 Gram)
Directions

1. Put the butter and sugar in a bowl and, using electric beaters, beat together until pale and fluffy. Add the peanut butter, egg, flour and baking powder and stir together until combined. Stir in the peanuts.
2. Take large teaspoonfuls of the mixture and drop them on to 3 large, lightly oiled baking sheets, leaving a good 5 cm (2 inch) gap between them for spreading. Flatten them slightly and bake in a preheated oven, 190°C (375°F), Gas Mark 5, for 12 minutes until golden around the edges. Leave to cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to go cold.
