Rocks Goose Fat

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄3 Cup (37.33 tbs)
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Rendered goose fat 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Chopped walnut meats 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Seeded raisins 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
Directions

Sift flour, measure and resift 3 times with remaining dry ingredients.
Cream fat, add sugar gradually and continue beating thoroughly.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour and stir until thoroughly blended.
Stir in nut meats and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350° F. (moderate) for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cool on cake racks.
Makes 4 dozen cookies.
