Cider Apple Butter

Ingredients
  Apples 4 Pound, stemmed, quartered (well flavored)
  Cider/Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)
  Ground cinnamon 3 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Cook apples in cider or water until soft.
Strain pulp.
To each cup of pulp add 1/2 cup sugar.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture sheets from spoon.
Pour into hot sterilized jars.
Store in cool dry place.
