Peanut Butter Crunchies
|Butter/Margarine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chunky peanut butter||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs) (Gold Medal)|
|Crushed wheaties||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Blend butter and peanut butter.
Mix in sugar.
Stir in egg and vanilla; beat well.
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Blend flour, soda, and salt; mix thoroughly into butter-sugar mixture.
Refrigerate dough several hours, or until firm.
Heat oven to 350°
Shape dough into small balls; roll in crushed Wheaties.
Place about 2" apart on greased baking sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 min.
