Butter Horn Cookies
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Gold Medal)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Active dry yeast||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon (1/2 Package)|
|Warm water||2 Tablespoon|
|Eggs||2 , separated|
|Sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Commercial)|
|Granulated sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Stir flour, baking powder, and salt together in mixing bowl.
Cut in butter.
Dissolve yeast in water; stir in egg yolks, sour cream, and vanilla.
Blend into flour mixture.
Refrigerate 1 hr.
Heat oven to 400°
