Apricot Apple Butter
|Dried apricots||12 Ounce (Two 6 Ounce Packages)|
|Apple juice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Apples||2 1⁄2 Pound, pared, cored and cut in eighths (About 10 Apples)|
|Lemon juice||4 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1 Dash|
1. Combine ingredients in a 4-quart glass bowl. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 15 to 18 minutes at High, or until apples are soft; stir every 5 minutes.
2. Puree fruit mixture in blender or food processor. Return to glass bowl. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 15 minutes at High, or until thick; stir 4 times. Put fruit butter into hot sterilized jars; cover. Cool. Store in refrigerator.
