Ingredients : Maida-1 cup,Besan 11/2cups,refined oil or vanaspati ghee 1 cup,Sugar 11/4 cups,Ilaichi powder half tsp,kishmish for decoration.

Baking Method : Sieve the maida and besan first,Keep it in a bowl. Now grind sugar to powder and mix with the maida-besan flour.If you are using vanaspati then you need to melt it.Add the vanaspati or refined oil to the flour.Also add ilaichi pow.and mix till the mixture appears crumbly. Do not knead the flour like chapatti dough.The mixture should be crumbly enough to form a round ball. Now flatten the ball put one kishmish at the centre for decoration. Make same thing with the remaining dough. Pre-heat the oven at 180 f . Now put the Nankhatais in a baking dish. Bake for 10mins in your OTG or you may bake in MICROWAVE OVEN too. The colour will be slight pinkish after baking.Do not over bake the nankhatais.

Crumbly-crispy Nankhatais are ready for teatime snack!!
