This apple meringue pie is a beautiful baked dessert made with apple sauce and nutmeg for flavor. Baked in a cheese pastry shell, the apple meringue pie is topped with a vanilla meringue mix and browned to a sumptious perfection.
Ingredients
  Sweetened applesauce 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Baked cheese pastry shell 1
  Egg whites 3
  Confectioner sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by preheating the oven to 325F degrees
MAKING
2.Combine applesauce and nutmeg.
3.Turn into pastry shell.
4.Beat egg whites until stiff; fold in sugar and vanilla.
5.Cover applesauce and bake in a slow oven for 20 minutes or until browned.
SERVING
6.Serve with ice cream
