Kohlrabi

Ingredients
  Kohlrabi 4 Pound
  Lard 1 Ounce
  Flour 2 Ounce
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Black pepper 1 Pinch
  Parsley bunch 1 Small
Directions

Dice cleaned kohlrabi and cook in boiling salted water.
Make a light roux of lard and flour, adding black pepper; mix it with cold water.
When the kohlrabi is tender, thicken with the roux, put in the sour cream and bring to boil.
In summer time fresh tomatoes and green peppers may be added, or, if preferred, a bunch of finely chopped fresh dill.
